The Avi Project pairs two trained, trusted advocates to accompany the student throughout her pregnancy. Health and wellness coaches, doulas, and professional women such as licensed therapists, career counselors, and money management coaches support her in reaching her goals, setting her up for a successful future.

An EmpowerU Circle member is someone who believes that college students don't have to turn to abortion as the only path to achieving their goals.

I am forever grateful to the ladies at The Avi Project for providing me with everything I needed when my life was flipped upside down. When I found out I was pregnant the summer before my sophomore year of college, I thought that everything I worked so hard for was over. That first meeting with Nicole and Alisha, unbeknownst to me, changed everything. Their work with The Avi Project was more than just free gifts. They taught and prepared me to be a great mommy, and they showed me love and community when I felt out-of-place and alone on campus. Now, I am blessed not to have to worry about my daughter being without anything she needs and I have everything I need to finish what I started at school. Thanks to The Avi Project, I can confidently say my baby girl will have a scientist for a mommy.

Founding and running a not-for-profit is one of the most challenging adventures we have accepted. We have found monthly donors to be a much-needed foundation for keeping our organization running smoothly. Supporting college women in crisis pregnancies to allow them to choose life is near to our hearts and we are personally committed to being in the monthly donor circle for The Avi Project.
